ACES Graduate Convocation Tickets
Registration is required for every graduate participating in the ACES Convocation Ceremony held Saturday, May 16, 2009. Your registration to participate will be the completion of the Graduate Student Survey. Registration will confirm that your name will be read as you walk across the stage, and that you will have a chair to sit in during the ceremony. If you do not register by taking the Graduate Student Survey, please contact our office to make arrangements to participate.

Out-of-town graduates should indicate their intent to participate in the ACES Convocation Ceremony by completing the Graduate Student Survey link above.
Tickets for guests will not be required for the May 16, 2009 ACES Convocation Ceremony.
Cap & Gown
To assure uniformity of attire, graduates must order rental academic attire online at Herff Jones. The deadline to order is 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 20. Academic attire cannot be ordered online after this deadline, therefore any graduate who thinks he/she may participate should place an order. Payment is made when the attire is picked-up. Payment is not required for ordered attire that is not claimed.
I didn't order my cap & gown - now what do I do?!
For students who neglected to order their regalia online by April 20 and who also missed the on-campus measurement dates – they have only one remaining opportunity to order their regalia – in person on Thursday, May 7 (Reading Day) at the Illini Union Bookstore from 10am-Noon. After that, they must go to the ARC on May 14 or 15 and place an order. A $20 late fee will be charged.

The ACES Convocation Ceremony
Graduates should arrive and begin to line up in the Assembly Hall East Tunnel (enter from Fourth Street across from Bielfeldt Athletic Administration Building) between 3:30 & 4:00 pm. Late arrivals may not be permitted to participate.
Tassel Turn Celebration and Dinner
ACES graduates and their guests are invited to attend the Tassel Turn Celebration and Dinner, hosted by the ACES Alumni Association, immediately following the ACES Convocation Ceremony on Saturday, May 16. Reservations can be made by clicking on the About the Tassel Turn Reception link in the left column.
Campuswide Commencement Ceremony
College of ACES graduates are also invited to participate in the campuswide ceremony on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at 2 pm at the Assembly Hall. For more information about this ceremony, go to www.illinois.edu/commencement.
